Closed File Information Report

The Closed File Information Report screen is divided into two sections; System Parameters and User Parameters. In the System Parameters section, the user must specify details for the format of the report; in the User Parameters section, the user must specify details pertaining to the content of the report. Report Description


The Closed File Information Report displays information about Client Files (not Matters) that have been closed in the system, and is generated based on a user specified range of Clients, Matters, and Storage Box Numbers. The report can be generated in two different formats: sorted alphabetically, or sorted numerically.

User Parameters

Client Number X To X - The user must manually enter the unique identifiers to define the range of Clients for whom the report will be produced. These fields default to the first and last possible Clients (i.e. by default, all available Clients will be included in the report).

Matter Number X To X - The user must manually enter the unique identifiers to define the range of Matters for whom the report will be produced. These fields default to the first and last possible Matters (i.e. by default, all available Matters will be included in the report).

Location Box Number X to X - The user must manually enter the numbers to define the range of Location or Storage Boxes to be included in the report. These fields default to the first and last possible Location Box Numbers (i.e. by default, all available Clients will be included in the report).

Sort By - From the list provided, the user must select the format in which the report will be produced. Valid options are Alphabetic and Numeric. The user also has the option to manually enter their Sort By selection. This field defaults to the Alphabetic option.
